According to the burning material and properties, fire is divided into A, B, C, D four:

Class A, a combustible solid material fire;

The B class, a liquid fire and molten fire solids;

The C class, a flammable gas fires;

The D class, a combustible metal fire, such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, titanium, lithium, aluminum alloy and other material fire.

According to the different types of fire to select different fire extinguishing agent:

①a fire fighting should choose water, foam, dry powder fire extinguishing agent ammonium phosphate.

The class B fire fighting should choose dry powder, foam fire extinguishing agent.

Save polar solvent of class B fire shall not use chemical foam fire extinguishing agent, alcohol resistant foam extinguishing agent.

The class C fire fighting should choose dry powder, carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent.

The suppression of class D fire with 7150 fire extinguishing agent and sand, soil etc.
